Lev Lalev “Marching” forward “Springing ahead

In honor of you, the supporters of Lev Lalev Orphanage and Children’s Home in Israel, I wanted to share this anonymous poem and connect it to the life saving work that we do. To fully appreciate the poem, let’s understand that “winter turns to spring and spring turns to summer”. This poem is called March; it called be called the March of the orphaned girls at Lev Lalev. They come to us in the cold and dark of the winter and then grow and mature through the spring, until they reach the warmth, beauty, and radiance of the summer.

The sun is brilliant in the sky

But its warmth does not yet reach my face

The breeze stirs the trees but leaves my hair unmoved

The cooling rain will feed the grass but will not satisfy my thirst

It is all inches away but further from me then my dreams

We are just inches away from giving our girls at Lev Lalev what they need to meet their dreams. To join us at Lev Lalev in our holy mission please visit or click on our link www.levlalev.com
